Atlantis Cano San Lucas at the El Arco, June 2007
Catching my first 7'9" 130 lb. Stripe Marlin, with Redrum Charters in Cabo San Lucas!
Who I Am
For most of my professional career I had been involved as a Logistics Merchandise/Buyer Analyst for Kmart Headquarters, Troy, Michigan. I have more than fifteen years of management utilizing customer service experience along with learning and performance training and development, with my BS Western Michigan University, Applied Behavior Analysis.

I currently work with my husband, Doug Oliver, Attorney at Law, Milford, Michigan, assisting him in his law practice.

I became involved in showing pugs in 2002. In just four years time, I now have seven champions, five of which are homebred, one ROM*, and one of my first homebred girls, from my very first breeding, going to Nationals and winning Grand Sweepstakes in 2004.
We had our second winning of the Grand Sweepstakes, at the Nationals again, in 2006.  The dam of this breeding was CH Olivers' Rose Amber Elegance.

Our most important passion, besides our dogs, is our daughter, Alexandra, who is currently 16 years old and will be a Junior at Walled Lake Northern.  She is also on the Varsity Golf  team. She took All Division in her Golf Conference this past 2007season.  Allie was on the Meijer Golf Tournament, this summer.  Allie will also be involved with the Future Collegians World Tour this winter.

When we are not showing dogs, we are at Crystal Mountain playing golf, where we currently have a vacation home. We also have a zest for cruises!
We just returned home from our vacation in Cabo San Lucas for some Sportsfishing~
Check out the Stripe Marlin I caught, June 29, 2007, 7'9" and 130 pounds!  My first try, Sports Fishing, out in the Pacific ocean!
Loved it~

We stand behind the health of our pugs! Because we value our pugs health and emotional well being, All potential clients must be interviewed and all of Olivers' Rose Pugs are placed with either a Companion Pet Contract or a Show Contract.

Show Pugs
we are very selective in placing our show-potential pugs. Careful consideration is given to those prospective owners who indicate an intention to show our Olivers' Rose Pugs. All show potential pugs that eventually are in a breeding program are show potential pugs. Show potential pugs are sold on a "show contract" and must be shown.

Companion Pets
on occasion, we place puppies in select companion pet homes.
We keep all of our puppies for 12 weeks.
All prospective Companion Pet Owners need to fill out our Companion Pug Puppy Application to be considered for a puppy. Emails that just ask for the price of a puppy, are frowned upon and will not be answered. Please be considerate and fill out the Application and/or send a detailed email about yourself. Please also sign your email.

Companion pets come with "Limited" AKC registration.
This means that the dog is fully registered with the AKC, however, should it not be spayed or neutered, its offspring are not eligible for AKC registration. We will issue the dog's AKC registration papers to you upon receipt of a veterinarian's statement of sterilization.
We do not ship!
Please contact Karen at karen@oliversrosepugs.com
